About The French Speaker, OLIVIER LELARDOUX:

He has 18+ years of experience in the production of youth programs as director, designer and production designer. In that time, he has spent 15 years at Cyber Group Studios (late 2005 to present), a company he co-founded, co-owns and is co-managing as Head of the studio and Director of the company’s series.

He also oversees the external studios (in India, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Kuala Lumpur and Tunis) working on Cyber Group Studios series and spearheads the company’s technology group. This series directed by him have won multiple awards and nominations.

For 3 years, he worked at Esteban Production – a company specialized in live action shows for kids.

 (2002 to 2005) as the director of TV ads, music videos, motion graphics, TV shows and VFX supervisor.

Along with two years at BillyWeb (2000 to 2002) as web designer. He was in charge of creating kids CGI characters for web sites.

His production expertise spans across production main steps (design, projects development, directing, producing, studio management, pipeline building, budgeting and scheduling); And he received a Master degree from the Cinema and Animation school ESRA Paris

About The Moderator, MARTIN MACALINTAL:

With an International Baccalaureate, Martin was the son of Filipino diplomat and had the opportunity to be educated in France at the University of Paris 4 - Sorbonne, majoring in History, and International Relations at the Political Science Institute or Science Po,  He also studied Philippine History at the University of the Philippines before joining the French Embassy in Manila as Protocol Officer.

 

However, his taste for culture and the arts brought him to the Cultural Section to handle the promotion of French culture in all its forms from the visual to the performing arts, cinema and animation. He has been instrumental in facilitating Philippine-French cooperation in the audiovisual sector, including the participation of the Philippine Animation Studios to the Annecy Festival, initiating linkages with the French Association for Animation or AFCA. Bi-cultural, if not dual citizen, Martin is currently Audiovisual and Cultural Attache in the Embassy of France to the Philippines.
